Malawi’s Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the CDC Foundation and Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Data for Health Initiative, has implemented one Mobile Phone SurveyMobile Phone SurveyMPS utilizing Interactive Voice ResponseInteractive Voice ResponseIVR and Short Message ServiceShort Message ServiceSMS to monitor Non-communicable diseasesNon-communicable diseasesNCDs in Malawi. The Ministry has also developed a National Action Plan for the Prevention and Management of Non-Communicable Diseases, which adopts a holistic approach to address the continuum of prevention and control of Non-communicable diseasesNon-communicable diseasesNCDs in the country.
